In FCIS preschool we assist the pupils construct knowledge through a variety of fun learning activities prepared each day for the total development of the child.

We encourage our parents to be involved in their child’s learning progress through regularly engagement and our open day sessions in order to facilitate the needed support at home. Creche & Playgroup is for babies 3months to 2 years. It is a support FCIS renders to working mothers. We offer home away from home. Here is a review by a parent.

REVIEW OF THE CRECHE EXPERIENCE
Taking my daughter to a Crèche had been a concern for me and my husband because she was tender and small. There was no way I could have conveniently get back to work without her within my reach due to the nature of my husband’s Job.
Her enrollment into Florence Court crèche gave me the convenience that I desired.

Access to a safe and affordable crèche was critical to me as a working mother. It has been a good fortune to be able to balance my home and job, and give my daughter the stimulation a good crèche provides.

I was impressed that Florence Court crèche provided a stable and reliable child care for my baby as I remained and stayed focus on my job knowing that my child was well cared for while I was at work.
Health safety is a major factor under child’s care and am happy my daughter enjoyed this to a great extent.

The Foundation class is our first year of schooling for children from age two to prepare them for educational journey. At this stage, our framework sets the standard required to give children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provides the right foundation for good future progress through school and life. FCIS develops a targeted plan to support any significant emerging concerns or identified special educational need relating to the child’s future learning while involving parents and educators.

The Kindergarten class is our intermediary year for children from age three that reflects the development level to boost pupils’ academic achievement and strengthen their social and emotional skills.

The Reception class is our pre- primary stage for children from age four to five and it’s the final year of the Early Years Foundation stage ( EYFS). It is a time of significant change and important year of growth for children where they gain so many new developmental skills needed to mature and develop independence, being confident about school, managing their own needs, being responsible, ability to focus, thinking skills and more.

Assessment at the end of the EYFS -Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) is done to provide a well-rounded picture of the child’s knowledge, understanding, abilities, their progress against the early learning goals and readiness for formal school.
